Intel fined a massive $1.45 Billion in Antitrust case

The European Commission on today fined the world’s largest chip maker, Intel, a record $1.446 billion (or about €1.06 billion) for abusing its dominance in the computer chip market to exclude longtime rival Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

Internet service providers reject ‘policing role’

Internet service providers (ISPs) have rejected calls for them to police the net and cut off users who repeatedly file-share material unlawfully.
