BT accelerates 100Mbps fibre rollout

British Telecom is to double the speed of its forthcoming next generation fiber broadband rollout which will bring up to 100Mbps broadband within reach of more than a million premises on 2010.

Google moves your email for you

Gmail Wednesday added a feature that migrates e-mail and contacts from other providers, including Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, and many more, which means you can still view the mails sent to the old account once in your new Gmail account.

After outage, Google responds

Google has responded to the outages that affected numerous of its services in locations around the world, and even though the buzz was seemingly big, only around 14% of users experienced problems, which, in terms of Google users, equates to millions.
